Use Python with the discord.py module to build a basic Discord Bot.

You do NOT need to have attended the previous sessions to attend this one. I will spend a sizable portion of time to recap and explain what has been done so far, and the code-in-progress will be posted to the public wall prior to the start of the session.

We will be using the Python and the discord.py module to create the game. You must have Python 3 preinstalled on your computer before the start of this session. You may install Python at this link. Click on the yellow "Download Python 3.9.6" button at the top of the page. Make sure to test that Python is working before the start of the session. I will cover installation of the discord.py module at the start of the session but it is best to do so beforehand lest you encounter any technical issues. I will not pause during the session to help anyone with installation issues.

You should be comfortable in basic Python before enrolling in this course.
